There’s plenty of reasons to be glad you don’t live in North Korea. And yet, it seems – from the links we’ve received – that pop music stopped there in the mid 80s.
Which means – no Spice Girls, no Oasis and no LMFAO… *one-way ticket to Pyongyang, please*
This week’s 80s cover – Modern Talking – Brother Louis, done by the Pochonbo Electronic Orchestra, a state-approved pop combo who took their name from a battle in 1937, won by a unit of soldiers headed by Kim il-Sung.
